Once upon a time there was a widow,she had only one son named
Malin Kundang. They lived in a hut, in a
village near the sea. They were very
poor, because that the woman worked very hard for her beloved son. That’s why
Malin Kundang loved his mom very much. He promised to himself to make his
mother happy someday.
So..when he grew
up he pursued for a better live to another town. His mother was very sad but
she couldn’t stop him,so..she let him go. After years passed by in another
town, Malin Kundang worked diligently. With tenacity and perseverance in work,
Malin gradually managed to become a wealthy man. It has a lot of merchant ships
with men of more than 100 people. And then, Malin Kundang marry a girl to be
his wife.
One morning a
big beautiful ship dock, a young couple stood at the dock. They were a
beautiful clothes. When the ship finnaly pulled over,everbody was shouting.
“Malin Kundang is coming,he become a richman....Malin Kundang is
coming.he become a richman.”
What a big surprised his mother saw Malin kundang with his
wife,she was very beautiful.
His mother said “Malin your wife is very beautiful, I love her so
much.”
“and you Malin my lovely son, finally you were back again, I miss
you so much Malin.”
“everyday I always pray for you for what you want and know here
we are, I love you my son, I love you so much.”
When his mother
wanted to hug him,she was pushed away by Malin Kundang. He was ashamed to admit
his own mother in front of his beautiful wife.
“who are you old lady? I don’t know you we never met before and I
don’t have a dirty poor mom like you.” “Go away from here ugly woman, go away
from me,I don’t want to see you again, go to hell !!”
“Malin I’m your mother.” (his mother was cried). “My dear God if he really is my
son,punish him punish him.”
His mother so sadly and she cursed Malin Kundang.”Malin Kundang
God is my witness, you dont acknowledge me that I’m your mother,you will regret
for you have done to me.”
Do you know what
happened than? A big thunder and black lighting was came. And the sky was
clean, a bidg stone appear in front of his mother.
Guess what happen? Yes a stone was Malin Kundang,he turned into
stone because he had betrayed to is mother,
In the end of the story that teaches us not to betray to our parents.
